Who is Floriday Youth Football?

Youth football refers to players that are 11 to 18 years old.

In youth football, A youth is defined as a person under 18 who is accused of engaging in behavior that violates or would violate a state, local, or federal law or code if performed by an adult.

The term "Academy" refers to the academy mentioned at the commencement of this Scheme of Delegation and all locations where the academy task is sometimes carried out;

The Game has the definition stated in the Control Act for that word;

The term "Player" refers to any Contract Player, Non-Contract Player, or any player who competes for a Club or is qualified to do so.

Club refers to a club that is currently a member of the Competition.

School is a primary or secondary institution.

The Florida Select Young Football League Inc. (FSYFL) is a service organization for youth football to provide coordinated scheduling for member associations, organizations, and teams, as well as common age categories and playing regulations. The prices, fees, or money required to join are minimal. Every member association, organization, and team retains its individual autonomy concerning all internal choices, fundraising, the board of directors, and other matters that may be relevant to that specific association, organization, or team. The FSYFL organizes tournaments, league regulations, and schedules while awaiting member approval. Every association, group, or team participating in the FSYFL is a non-voting member. Once an application is approved, it becomes a member for the length of the season. The membership lasts until the registered team, organization, or association has finished its regular season or playoffs, whichever comes first.

Regulations: The Florida Select Youth Football League shall adhere to the USA Select National Youth Football League (USASNYFL) and National Federation of High Schools (NFHS) rules, with the modifications, exclusions, and clarifications described in the FSYFL Variance and Supplementary Rules.

The following minimum requirements must be met: Teams must have both player injury insurance and facility liability insurance. All players must possess a valid U.S. passport or a Florida state I.D. card. Birth certificates are not recognized as proof of identity. Background checks are required for coaches; they must also be certified by Florida Football, while volunteers and non-coaches must get certification from the National Alliance of Youth Sports. 5) The Florida Football Heads Up Program must be completed, and teams must appoint a Player Safety Coach; The Florida Football Practice Guidelines should be followed, and players must have an annual physical.

These minimal standards are on par with or higher than middle and high schools. Email us if your group or company is prepared to satisfy these minimal standards.
